Glenda, John Gillespie and Polly Brandon who moved from Rowan County, NC to Sumner County, TN had Jane b. abt. 1805 who married David Vance on Aug. 8, 1820 in Sumner Co. TN and James G. Gillespie b. aft. 3-14-1790 in Rowan Co. NC who married Mary Vance. John and Polly also had a son Thomas, but I don't have a Vance marriage for him, although many men married more than once.
