    3. My apologies to Connie and the rest of the list for not making myself clear in my original request. It was a long day. Capt. Thomas Gillespie was born around 1755 and his will was probated the First Monday of January, 1924. He and his wife Virginia Vance Gillespie had four daughters and two sons. I am seeking information on both Thomas and Virginia. I have some information on them after they arrived in East Tennessee mainly about their connections to the Presbyterian Church. Thomas was instrumental in the establishing of two of the first Presbyterian churches in that area. He was also on the first Board of Trustees for Blount College which later became known as the University of Tennessee. -----Original Message----- >Searching for the ancestry of Capt.
