My g g grandfather was Josiah R. Gillespie, b.9 Feb. 1825 in Bond Co. IL to parents; Josiah R. Gillespie/Hannah Williams. He died 22 Jan 1857 in Nashville, TN as a result of the civil War. The family has connections to the File and Willeford families who also immigrated to Bond Co. as very early settlers. I would appreciate any information. Loleta Brown [email protected]
