Richard, Am new to this mailing list & Peoria IL caught my attention. Don't know if this fits anything you have but I have one entry for Peoria: William Gillespie, christened 10/11/1832, Dryfesdale, Dumfries, Scotland, second of ten children born to David Gillespie & Susan Richardson. He married Agnes Stewart Hanna 12/31/1861, Peoria IL. There were 6 children born between 1864 & 1874, three in Illinois (don't know yet if Peoria) & three in Michigan: William b. 1864 in Illinois, d. 1/24/1897 in State of Kansas, buried 3/12/1897 in Chicago; Frank b. 1865 in Illinois; Charles b. 1868 in Illinois; David b. 1871 in Michigan; Alexander b. 1873 in Michigan; Robert b. 1874 in Michigan. By 1880 they were back in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois and William Sr was a foreman in a lumber yard. Have nothing for a Samuel or Lantie, Tenn or Ala. Do you know when Lantie was born? Most of my line seems to have settled in Cook County IL in spite of all their moving around. Hope this may be of some help to you Jean Zack Downers Grove IL
