Rev.George Gillespie *Their son was the well-known Westminister Assembly member (Westminister Divine), Rev. Geoge Gillespie, Chaplain to Viscount Kenmure and Earl Cassilis..b.1613..d.1648..m. Catharine Murray *Their son was another Rev. George Gillespie..b. about 1644..d.1724..m.? *His son was another Rev. George Gillespie..the one that brought the family to the American colonies. He first presented his ministerial credentials to Cotton Mather in New England..and then went to Delaware where he pastored 4 churches..and finally Christiana Church in Christiana, DEL. b..1683...d.1760...m.Rebekah ? Their son was also George Gillespie..b. 1722...d.1796...m.Hannah Johnson Their son was George Gillespie..b.1753..d.1831..m.Mary Evans. *They had 11 children.
