Hello descendants of George Gillespie!! I'm amazed that there are now 2 family threads running, neither of which match my 4th g-grandfather, George Gillespie, b. 3/5/1740 in Antrim Co., N. Ireland! My George came to this country, going first to an uncle in Lancaster Co., PA, but soon moving on to Washington Co., PA. There he married Jane Allen, b. 6/15/1739 in Scotland. My George and Jane had 10 children in Washington Co., PA, before moving on to Warren Co., OH. They both lived the rest of their lives in Warren Co., Jane dying 9/7/1814, and George 10/11/1822.
