Married Ameila ? and had a son Stephen GILLESPIE b. @1854 in Indiana. The family is in Boone Co. MO for the 1860 census in addition to the above named GILLESPIEs the household includes Malinda MERRILL,15y,b.IN. 6 Jan 1870 in St Louis William marries Mrs. Menisa/Manisa "Nisa" WHITE b. VA @ 1823. She is the mother of a son, William T. WHITE b. @ 1863 in Ohio. William and Nisa GILLESPIE appear in both the 1870 and 1880 census of St. Louis. Nisa died 10 July 1882 in St Louis and was buried at Bellfontaine Cemetery in a plot belonging to the family of Richard H COLE. William is not buried in the same location. Any help appreciated.
