I have traced my family back into the 1700s and I am still in the South. NC, SC, ALA, GA I remember my Grandmother always said the family was originally from PA but I have not got that far back as yet. My gggg grandfather Joseph Gillespie was in NC AND SC...AND this was in the 1700s I wish I could get bacl another generation or two.
