He was listed in the 1860 census at being 30 years old (Birth year approx 1830) He was living in Dayton Ohio at the time as a weaver - It listed his place of birth as Scotland. He was living as a boarder in the home of Archibald Dickson (or Dixon)whom owned a family run carpet weaving / fabric dying business That is literally all i know exceot David is nowhere to be found in censuses after 1860
