Jeri, Your email reminded me of one of my genealogy quandaries. Maybe my experience can help you: I located a transcript of some family relationships which gave names and places but no documentation. The transcriber listed one family's location as Huntsville, Alabama. Perusing confirmation, I was unable to find any Alabama info on the family or in support of the listing. I then looked in the Huntsville, Texas area and found them! Apparently the original source did not mention a state and the transcriber made an assumption.
