She was born about 1866 in the Cavan Twp. area of Durham County in ON Canada. Could have been Manvers/Bethany, etc areas... Sarah Gillespie was the daughter of John Gillespie born abt 1828 and Mary Ann Dawson born abt 1833 possibly in Ireland. Other children in this family were Hugh Gillespie (1862) married to Rebecca Cathcart, William H. Gillespie (1868) married to Lottie McWilliams, Alfred or Albert (1862), Mary Jane (1858) married Richard Samuel Staples, Margaret (1867),Louis Edward Gillespie (1870), Jemima L. Gillespie (1875) and Lisabeth Emma or Emma Lisabeth (1876) married Thomas William Gillies. Would like to find any of the siblings that I don't have a marriage for in hopes of finding where Sarah Ann went. She married William John McCrorie in 1890 and had at least one child but W.J. McCrorie died of Tuberculosis in 1899 and Sarah and child/ren are missing from the area afterwards. Wo! uld welcome any lead on finding them.
