January 04, 1886, Hot Springs AR.; m. NANNIE DELL CUMMINGS, November 27, 1872, Birmingham AL; b. 1857, Tuscaloosa AL; d. December 02, 1913, Moble AL. Notes for STAWELL WEBB GILLESPIE: He married at the age of 40 and had 2 sons and 1 daughter. Franklin says "He was early apprenticed to a druggist and worked hard. Mental energy good, but sporadic and uncertain. He has begun life 20 times with sanguine hopes only to fail. Quick tempered, over sanguine, not able to weigh difficulties, with very considerable energy. A flighty, shallow minded, inconsiderate man but a good arithmatician. Has been a complete failure in life. Married in America a woman of Irish descent and has 3 children." Franklin obviously believed in being honest. More About STAWELL WEBB GILLESPIE: Occupation: Druggist More About STAWELL GILLESPIE and NANNIE CUMMINGS: Marriage: November 27, 1872, Birmingham AL There was one other I believe a Leslie Gillespie that went to the US whereabouts unknown Good Hunting Bernie
