I am also looking for a Gifford in the southeastern/MA area: Henry A. Gifford, b. 1861 and died 1956. He was married to Amy Etta ? (b. 1865 d. 1940) He had three children: Mary, Edna and James. Unfortunately, this is all I have on Henry. I am writing (snail mail) around to various towns in MA where he may have died. He does not show up on the Social Security Index. I am also checking census records. I do not know where Henry was born. The problem is, this Gifford family probably did not approve of a marriage (Henry's daughter, Edna, to my grandfather, Leroy Andrews). The Giffords then had little to no contact with Edna's family, her children, etc. I am searching for Henry in the traditional way, and online. Henry and Amy are buried in Lakenham Cemetery, which is in Carver, MA. I found their grave site almost by accident, while looking for Leroy's resting place. Anyone have any info in Henry A. Gifford?
