I just went through the copies I have of the decendancy of William Gifford of Sandwich Mass,in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register. The article spans several years, with an entry in most issues of the year, beginning in Jan 1975 and continuing to 1980. I don't have all of the copies into 1980 and that would be the entries where your John might be listed. I wish I could have fund your John. Marita
