The farthest back I have been able to get on the Gifford lineage is to determine that my Great- great-Grandpa Gifford was born in Canada. This info came from my great Grandpa, Alfred Gifford's marriage registration in Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA. By the way, that's also where Frank Gifford was born.
