Is there anybody who has any information at all about the GIFFORDs of Devon? I have traced my branch back to the Mary Tavy area where they were living in the middle of the last century. (My ancestor was Samuel Fice GIFFORD). I understand that there is a history of the family in Devon that goes back hundreds of years. Is there a GIFFORD expert who can help? Perhaps someone could give me some sources I could explore. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
