    3. Hi Gordon, Thanks for the information on the origin of the name of Giddeon Gifford as being the father of our William Gifford. In 1995, Ginny sent me two sets of notes. A set of about 18 pages of handwritten notes (very good penmanship) and about 10 pages of typed notes (that appear to be mainly taken from the handwritten notes). Do you know which set were due to P. V. Gifford? When you were looking at the bible, did you note who Aunt Netta was and who her parents were? Much activity here as my (step) daughter Laurie Pendleton is getting married in a couple of weeks. We highly approve of the groom so it is a happy occasion.
