I finally caught Virginia in a good mood . Her research starts with notes from P V Gifford . At one point there was corespondence between several of the descendands of William . The most impressive set of corespondance came from a lady in NY , she was a descendand of Jabez . It appears that William had a brother Benjamin up in NY . There was an adoption of some children related to William and Bejamin oversaw the activity . It appears that Gideon was Williams father , but Lois Jackson probly wasn't the mother . The family story probly will never be told , since this family continually used the same names . I did open the"Gifford" book one more time . It has been well taken care of .
