Hi All, Well, time to list this again. Anyone with a child unknown born between 1770 and 1780 in Mass. NY or Pa. The fathers name may be Alexander, Thomas, William, James, Robert or Hugh. Those first names pass through 4 generations. The mothers name is possibly Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, or Marie. I have been stuck at a brick gene wall for over two years now and am looking for any holes in anyone elses lines that could possibly fit with my Alexander Gifford b approx 1777 d 1821 Balt. Md. He was not born in Md. nor where his first two children Elizabeth and Thomas. He has a sister named Jane b. approx 1790, who married a Capt. Robert Fairweather of Philidelphia and has three children, Alexander, Anna, and Charlotte, all born in Pa. I have no other info on any of these named individuals. So, even if you have a long shot connection, please let me know.
