Karen My Robert Gifford was the son of William Gifford,born in England, died in 1687, and who was in Sandwich in 1650. Robert was born in 1656 and thus was probably born in Sandwich. I do not know the name of William Gifford's first wife, Robert's mother, but I would truly like to know it. Do you think this might be in the Sandwich VR you so kindly offered to search?
