Hi all, Seeking the respective parents of Mary Ann-1 (nee Gifford) Stowell and her second John-1 A. Richardson. They were married on Jan. 10, 1831, Baltimore, Maryland. They lived in Clarksburg, Mont. Co. Maryland from 1831 to 1857. According to the funeral cards, Mary Gifford was born Dec 11, 1803, in Massachusetts and John Richardson was born in Pennsylvania on July 18, 1803. Mary died in 1856; John died in 1857. They lived in Clarksburg, Montgomery Co. Maryland. They had three children: 2.i. Charles-2, b. Mont Co Md 1835, m. Laura Children from this marriage: 3.i. William-3, b. 1865 3.ii. Walter-3. b. 1870 3.iii. Etta-3. b. 1872 3.iv. Frank, b. 1875 3.v. Janin (sp?), b/ 1878 2.ii. Elizabeth-2, b. 1838; m. Nathaniel Alfred Oden 1855. They had children: Mary-3, Anne-3, Eugene-3, Arthur-3 William-3. 2.iii. Frances Marion-2, b. 1839, m. John William Hurley. They had chldren: Anna-3, Emma-3, Ellen-3, Lydia-3. William-3.
