Hi all, Elizabeth("Betsey") Gifford (1805 - ?) was born in New York and had migrated to Erie Co., Pa. by 1834. She married David Bly/Blye who was also born in New York in about 1805. They were living in Northeast Twp., Erie Co. in 1850 with five minor children according to the 1850 Census. Betsey was the daughter of the Revolutionary Army soldier William Gifford (1754-1758 - 1846) who also migrated form New York to Erie Co., Pa. We do not know if the Blys remained in Erie Co. or moved elsewhere after 1850. We have no vital records (dates and locations of births, deaths, marriages) of either them or their children.
