After my grandmother died, I found an envelope with old photos of Edmund GIFFORD and Livonia GIFFORD in it. The photographer was E. A. Kusel, Oroville and Chico. Someone had written California on them, so I assume they were living in California at the time they were taken. There was one other photo - Ellen PINGREE with W. S written above the name in different script. The photographer was G. H. Sherman in Elgin, Ill. My grandmother's family surnames are: BOLANDER-BOLINGER, MORTON, BURNETT, BRADFORD, MARTIN. I'm hoping someone can help me on these GIFFORD's.
