Please help me to find the family of Eleanor GIFFORD, born 1787. She married @ Shelby Co, KY 1808 to Stephen SHIPMAN. They moved to Jackson Co, Indiana then West to Sullivan Co, Indiana and finally to Crawford Co, Illinois. There was a James GIFFORD who signed her marriage bond in KY, but I don't know if that was a Father, Uncle, Brother, etc.? Her first born son was named James Robert SHIPMAN 1811, and 2nd son named William 1812. I cannot determine where Eleanor was born either.
