I have definitive and good information on Willie Franklin Gibson. Birth: 25 Feb 1874 Madison, Rockingham, North Carolina, USA Death: 22 Jul 1928 Winston-Salem, Forsyth, North Carolina, USA In 1905 married Lilie Fulton. Had seven children: Joseph (Joe) Nathan Gibson 1907 Poss. Living Gibson 1907 Charlie R Gibson 1908-1979 Dewey Lee Gibson 1911-1997 Pauline Ruth Gibson 1916-1980 Viola Francis Gibson 1918-1980 Poss. Living Gibson 1928 Willie's death certificate does not list a father, but does list a mother, Eliza Gibson. Eliza Gibson, unsourced info tells me, was born 29 Dec 1856, Rockingham, North Carolina, USA Died: 2 Aug 1933 Madison, Rockingham, North Carolina, USA Possible other first names were Mary Anne Elizabeth. Also, Molly Lizetta. The reason I say that is that Willie lived in Pittsylvania county, VA in 1910. On the same page as he is a Molly L Gibson, whose age would give her the correct date of birth, though she claims to be born in VA. She is divorced, and indicates that she had four living children Again, unsourced info tells me that Eliza was one of seven children of Andrew Andy Gibson, born 1822 in Rockingham, NC. Her brothers and sisters supposedly include William T. Gibson, Sarah, Robert Walker, Martin V. Gibson, Andrew Jackson Gibson, and a Mary (possibly).
