Looking for the parents of J. Wesley Gibson b. 1826 in Kentucky and md. Mary Terry in Lawrence County. >From the names of his two sons, I suspect that he may be a child of John Gibson Sr who md. Nancy Ann Orr. This John Gibson was born 11 May 1774 and was the son of Sylvanus and Eleanor Taylor. Has anyone come across J. Wesley Gibson in their research? He was a JOP in Lawrence County for a few years in the Courtland area.
