Sally, thank you much for your reply to my Arthur Gibson question. I don't find that we are related. There are hundreds of lines with the Gibson name, and all are hard to track. Like you I am reaching through all that seem reasonable. I have searched for about 10 years for the father of my gg-grandfather Arthur Bradley Gibson born about 1830 somewhere in KY. His father Andrew Gibson was born about 1800-1810 I know not where. I have followed every Gibson line hoping it might lead me to Andrew but so far nothing. I do have Arthur Bradley married Francis Leevnia Smithhart in McLennan Co TX. They lived a few years in Bosque and Wise Co's TX before coming into the Indian Territory about 1886 up the Chisholm Trail as far as Marlow, OK and then across to Okfuskee Co from which they all scattered back to the Marlow and Foster OK area to Polk Co AR, TX, NM, WA State, and some stayed in the Okfuskee area.
