It is thought that he went to Australia and it is known that his sister Mary Wilson Broad lived in Detroit,USA and his sister Nicholas Denniston Lane lived in Montreal Canada, while his sister Eliza Marshall Gathercole lived in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England.
