I have one William Gibson b. 1842 Missouri in my husband's line.? His parents, John Gibson Sr. and wife Hannah were both born in South Carolina and died in Missouri.? The last place they lived was in Reynolds County, Missouri.? They had 8 children that I know of: Thomas G. 1822-1912, Sarah b.. 1832, Margery b. 1834, James b. 1835, John Jr. b. 1840, Samuel b. 1840, William b. 1842 and Elias Polk Gibson b. 1845.? All children were born in Missouri except the oldest, Thomas G. who was born in N.Carolina and is my husband's direct ancestor. I would love to find out more about this family, but they are my brick wall.? I haven't found any leads in years.? Any help would be greatly appreciated. B.
