My grandmother was Ruth Virginia Gibson Brown. She was descended from George James Gibson who came to the US from England shortly after the Civil War. I was just wondering if the story 'rang any bells.' As you know, there are a lot of Gibsons in the USA but most of them have ancestors that arrived earlier than mine did.
