My father was born in Montana and it appeared he, mom Ruth and dtr Eleanor went to Phil.Pa. I show the same Ruth (if it is them) marrying a man in NY named Deidrich and then I could find her no longer. From 1943 to 1950 I visited Grandma Ruth (I was born in 1941) in Oakland, CA. Living with her was Charles. I know he was either her brother or her son. My mother and my father were never married. Robert Gibson, my father, was married to another woman. They had a son around the time of 1940 and he was named Robert Phileat Gibson and I think his mom's name was Babe, not sure. Robert, my father, and my mother had my brother Verlin Phileat Gibson in 1936 (still living) and myself Devora Layne Gibson (Reis) in 1941. I was told my father was having trouble supporting both families so he took to robbing banks and was sent to Folsom Prison about the time of my birth and was killed in a prison fight. I have written the prison, I! have his CDCprison number. He changed his name to Robert Davis during this time and I don't know the reason for that. My email is [email protected] Please keep in touch. I am looking for the name and death info of a Gibson woman (any other info also) who married my Ed Goodman. He was born 1775 and lived on Newman's Ridge in Hawkins Co., TN. She may have been a sister to "Spanish Peggy" Gibson. An early 1800's census has them with 10 kids. Especially need the death date to prove or disprove family story. Mary Lyn
