Gene and I are following the same basic line of Gibsons who came from Scott County, VA in at least the 1830 era and then through Montgomery County, IL and on through MO to Washington County, AR. Sarah Jane Gibson (daughter of Ison Gibson b. abt 1827) ---"her mother died when Jane was 9 years old. Jane had one sister. Her Father took the girls and traveled in a covered wagon all over the country. Her father finally married again.... no other record as per Maurine Skaggs, Trammel" ================ Gene Parker (see notes for Isom Gibson) says Sarah Jane GIBSON was born in Ill.
