    1. [GIBSON] Gibson married to Blue in Louisiana, Ark, Texas areas

    3. George Hebel Gibson born October 6, 1901 was born in Arkansas. He married Gertrude Estelle Gibson and are found on the U.S. Census to be living in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1930. In 1933, they were living in Nacogdoches, Texas and had a little girl named Jacqueline. In 1936 they had a son named Riley Rich Gibson. On this 1930 U.S. Census it lists his parents as being from what looks like Germany. I've had the census analyzed by the local libraries and they all feel strongly that it says possibly Hamburg, Germany. It lists George as being from the United States, which would go along with this listing......either you were are a native of America or you're not. I know that George was born in Arkansas, but where in Ak, is a mystery. George disappeared from the area of Nacogdoches, Texas in 1936, three months before Riley was born. Making his disappearance approximately July/August time frame. George's brother was known as H.C. "Blue" Gibson. Their mother's maiden name was Blue. George died and his funeral was in Monroe, Louisiana around the early 1980s. Some of the questions I have are: Is the family truly from Germany? Why would he, George, disappear? It is believed that he began a new family, yet he never tried to mingle with the first family. My grandmother stated once that she knew he was alive and had another family. My father was very blond as a child, but grew up and became very dark with hazel eyes. I just want to know what some family traits are. Where are the Gibsons generally from? Medical health history traits to expect. My father has had heart problems later in life, thankfully to overcome them. One trait that I see in my father is strength, endurance, stubborn will to survive, strong will yet a gentle kind nature. If anybody could help me find a lead to any information, I would be so grateful.
