Hi. I am looking for John and Daniel Gibson in the 1850 census, which lists them as being from Limestone Township, Lycoming County, PA. John and Daniel disappear from the 1860 census, and the 1840 census may have them, but at that point only head of household is listed. So all I really know is the following, from 1850 census: John A. Gibson 34, farmer, value of farm, $400. Daniel Gibson 4 Is it possible to get a search done of probate or land records? Are there marriage records of this time frame? Maybe church records. My theory is that John Gibson married an <unknown> Dougherty. The 1840 census shows a John Gibson married, and can only surmise his spouse died or left him before 1850.
