Just my thinking. Not certain of Tempa E's dob, rootsweb shows 1842 but Koger Cemetery records shows 1847, and her death 1865. I have a map showing land owned by Mary Gibson connected by Larkin then John S. This map also shows land owned by Jesse and I have assumed this is the home place where Larkin built his home. There was an Albert Gibson who married Martha Edwards (daughter of Elisha Edwards) and they owned land in this area too. Jesse Frank Gibson was born in Ringgold County, Iowa in 1863, so Mary A was born the year before. ?? I will do some checking of Moms records and see if we can determine about the original homestead of Jesse and Mary Sr. This is from the History of Harrison County by George W Wonamaker 1921 "During the Civil War, Larkin Gibson was with the Iowa State Militia and after the war he came to Missouri and located in Washington Township, Harrison County, Missouri." So bottom line, I do not know who Mary A Gibson, born 1862 in Iowa would be. The information regarding the purchase of T E Gibson's property to Larkin is interesting to me. Did you find this on the net or at the Court House in Bethany? I am wondering if this is the property my Mom owns? I am going to Bethany tomorrow and will see what I can find out.
