John was a miller who married Margaret Wood of Ipswich. Both died of smallpox in seventeen twenty/twenty one. Her brother, John Wood of Ipswich, took care of the children. The Ephraim married Joanna Wood of Ipswich. TWo sons of theirs, William Richard and John, survived. Ephraim, along with C aptain Samuel, died in the British West Indies of smallpox.
