He is found in the home of his second daughter Vestina Mask (Mrs. Robert) in Fulton Co., Arkansas in 1900 and in the home of his second son James in 1910 again in Fulton Co., Ark. Howell County Missouri and Fulton County Arkansas are next to each other and the states' lines are questionable in that hill country. After that the trail grows cold. There is no death certificate. Somewhere between 1910 and 1911 the senior Harry Henry GIBSON vanished. He is not buried with his wife Doris, nor his children - all of whom are buried in Kansas City, Missouri. That's why I'm hoping someone will be able to link him to a KY/TN family; I don't know where else to go on this end of the search. > >

    2. Nothing more is known about Henry Gibson. Sarah(Caperton) Gibson was a daughter of John Caperton, Sr. (b. 1709-1725, Ireland) John Caperton married Mary Thompson in PA and moved to Rockingham Co., VA and settled on the Shennandoah River about 1753. They had met on the ship which brought them from Ireland to PA. They purchased a tract of land in 1755 in Beverly Manor tract of Augusta Co., VA. Alexander Thompson was a witness to the deeds. They were on Christian Creek in 1759 and the next year near Peaked Mountain. Abou 1761 they migrated to the New River area of Bobetourt Co., that now is in Monroe Co., VA. John died after 1765 on the east side of New River just below the mouth of Rich Creek and very near the line of Summers County. All of their eight children were born in Augusta Co., VA/ ---- Original Message ---- From: jgibson000@comcast.net To: gibson@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GIBSON] Jesse Gibson and Elizabeth (Parmley) Gibson Date: Thu, 15 Oct 2009 06:58:02 -0500 >Weathers wrote: >> The Jesse Gibson who married Elizabeth Parmley near Knoxville, Knox >County, >> TN, about 1799, was born about 1777 in Botetourt Co., VA. 3. The Henry Gibson who settled in Christian County Ky is a different one from the Henry and Sarah below (he's from my family) and isnt the father of Jesse Gibson but they could be related I suppose. Jesse Gibson and his family however settled in nearby Livingston County KY and alot of his family moved over to nearby SouthEast Missouri. I live here next door to where Jesse Gibson settled in Western KY. Hope that helps a bit.
