I am 'WAY out of being able to participate! But I thought I'd like to put in a query with you so that if you ever have anyone who links with my ancestor, they might be able to let me know. The ONLY Gibson I'm fairly certain of is: William GIBSON (b c1750) md Feb 1773 Mary BURTON (perhaps in Chesterfield Co VA), d. c1791 in Bedford Co. VA. His parents may have been Thomas Gibson and WORLEY. The children of William and Mary BURTON GIBSON were: Elizabeth md BLACKWELL (my line) Nancy Mary md EUBANK Sarah md HARRIS John md EDISON Martha md EDISON William L. If anyone fids a link to this family, I would surely like to correspond. One further note: this is in my mtDNA lineage so am anxious to find more about Mary BURTON. Hi , I am still searching for Jack Gibson, B. in Al. in the late 1800's. He moved to Texas but without his wife and children. It seems when a person can't be found they are always listed as moved to Texas. he is the only uncle of my grandfather I can't find. I hope someone, somewhere knows where he is. I have very little information on the location. It sits upon the top of a hill that is best walked, part of the cemetery has been fenced off by a different family. The grave I am interested in is Tony Gibson. He was killed in a tipple accident on Sept. 30, 1930. He was married to Sally Conley. Any information on where to look for this cemtery or on the accident would be helpful. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
