I have some ancestors from Amorbach and Beuchen, Bavaria. In the US we list a city, county, and state to identify a location. I have looked at a number of maps and haven't been able to find the equivalent of a "county" for Germany. Somewhere I came up with Unterfranken for these towns, but can't find where any more. Can someone help me identify if this is correct, and more importantly, how to identify the "county" for other towns. Dwayne Awerkamp drawerkamp@cox.net
