    3. Hello Dwayne, the german equivalent for the county in the USA is called "Landkreis". The village of Amorbach is located in the Landkreis called Miltenberg. Unterfranken is first of all the name of a regional area and second the name for a governmental district of the federal state of Bavaria. So it's Amorbach in the --> county of Miltenberg in the --> district Unterfranken in the --> federal state of Bavaria ZIP-Code for Amorbach is 63916 Beuchen is integral part of the village Amorbach since 1975. In the US we list a city, county, and state to identify a location. I have looked at a number of maps and haven't been able to find the equivalent of a "county" for Germany. Somewhere I came up with Unterfranken for these towns, but can't find where any more. Can someone help me identify if this is correct, and more importantly, how to identify the "county" for other towns.
