Susan – You may have already seen my replies to others on this list who have sent me much the same information. Unfortunately, the Christina listed is not my gg-grandmother, so I’m still looking. I thought I had hit pay dirt since they were both of the same age and I couldn’t get on the Ancestry.com site to check on date of arrival. However, the listed Christina was of a different family and arrived in this country at least two years after my Christina did. So, I‘ll keep on looking but I’m indebted to all of you who took the time to look up this Christina and send me the information. The Heitzmans listed may be related in some way to my Heitzmans because mine, also, came from the Wurttemburg area, only mine arrived several years earlier. It was the fact that Christina was from Wittlensweiler and was of the same age as my ancestor that gave me hope that I had at last found how and when they arrived. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time. Again, thank you for your help.
