In looking for my Friedrich Fritsch b 1835 in Germany, I have found Friedrich Frotsch who landed in New Orleans on ship Ernestine May 1852, age 17. Since my Fred's naturalization papers said he landed New Orleans May 1851, I'm wondering if this isn't him with the date off a year... Further, an Andreas Nesselrodt was on the same ship. I have written to a relative of Andrew Nesselrodt who lived in the same county as Fred Fritsch - Pope Co, IL, to confirm that this was her relative. The ship's record said both were going to IL! Maybe, maybe!! Anyone know how I can get more information on this Friedrich Frotsch? Betty FL
