Hi Pearl; I searched pretty diligently for HMS Columbine--with mixed results. There were /a number /of British ships by that name. There was even one by that name that fought at the Battle of Trafalgar. One sank off South Africa in 1829. Another was stranded at Rotterdam in1855.
