My gparents,Hedwig and Herman Stern, from Manheim I believe immigrated to the states via NY, in 1874 and1880(Herman-1874 and Hedwig in 1880)but am not sure.I looked in G to A and got confused for there are to many Sterns.Can someone look into the passenger lists and give me the correct ones. Thank you.

Hello Rarose, I'll be happy to look them up for you but because as you say there are so many of them, I need to know (at least) the year when Herman and Hedwig were born, the state/county/township in which they settled in the US, and if possible the names and ages of any children that may have accompanied them. I would also help to know Hedwig's maiden namen in the event they did not marry until the after they arrived in the US. The more info you provide the better the chances are for a successful search.
