    3. Julie, I'm a descendant of Peter Anton Hornig of Bavaria. I have found the name spelled Horning, Hoernig and Hornig. Our line settled in Washington D C and Baltimore and then on to Philadelphia. Try Germans to America at you Library. They may have been listed. Our Hornig's arrived in 1854.
