Susan, Susan, You have a good question but I believe that you found the other Christian Wolf. I found my Christian Wolf on the 1870 Census with his wife 36, and two children who were 4 and 2 years old. I don't know when they married. Can't find a marriage for them. I need to work backwards and learn more about Mary Lander in order to learn where she came from and who her parents were. Thanks for your question, it always helps to have to review my findings. Why are you looking for her under Lander when she was married to Christian Wolf? I found Christian in the 1860 census in St. Clair, IL, married to an Anna M., 22, with son John, 2. Any chance her name was Anna Maria?
