    1. Re: [G-P-L] TOWNS...AND DOHMANN'S>>DOMANN'S
    2. Johann - My ancestors are Von Duelman or Van Dolman, You may want to interchange the "o" for "ue" as I found in early prussia records my relatives name spelled with "ue" and later changed in the USA to be less German like and more Dutch as they were in retail. However, in my research my GGGGGrandfather took on the wifes surname of Vonduelman when married as their were no other male heirs in the famiy. Do you have any Busseman in your family or research? -- Terie McGovern nee Van Dolman -------------- Original message -------------- From: "JOHANN DOHMANN" <jdohmann@gra.midco.net> > I am looking right now for Siddessen,we know family ancestors have > lived there for many years, ..DOHMANN & DOMANN..I have been in this researching > my family off and on for 53 years,my grandfather to the 28th generation was a > Judge in the town of Hoxter, both my grd father & grt grdfather were in the > Prussian Armies,1870's & 1848 I have the original Army papers, here at my home > plus their photo's. > > I am trying to find the town where ..Hubert Johan Dohmann b.25 Jul > 1856-57,so far Siddessen is our best bet. > > Johann Dohmann/ USA > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > GERMANY-PASSENGER-LISTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without > the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
