I am looking for a Peter Kroft (while in this country went by Peter Croft). According to his Intent papers he left LeHavre, France and arrived in New York on Dec 15, 1852. His allegiance was to Napoleon. Family members state he was from Alsace-Lorraine area, but I have not proof. I have checked Germans to America and did not find him.
