Hi Wolf, Is the information on transcribing list on the website somewhere or would you have to send it out to a person. The reason I ask is I would not mind helping some. If you put together an Excel spreadsheet with the format that would do the job it would be much easier for all to jump in and help. All transcription would then be the same and it is easy to put data into a pre-formatted sheet that to have to make one on your on (even I can do that). Hi Russell, > Is the information on transcribing list on the website > somewhere or would you have to send it out to a person. So far I have been sending this out 'bit by bit', but of course this could be put on our website. > The reason I ask is I would not mind helping some. This would be just GREAT !! What about putting all that stuff on our WIKI ( which I just started): http://wiki-en.genealogy.net/wiki/Germany-Passenger-Lists > If you put together an Excel spreadsheet with the format that > would do the job it would be much easier for all to jump in > and help. So far, I couldn't find too many people getting interested in transcribing. Just give me a hand to 'motivate' some more.. It's a mighty tough job to do EVERYTHING just by myself.. :-(( In order to enter the data into our MySQL database, it needs some special formatting, however, this all can be pre-programmed into Excel and the transcriber doesn't have to be aware of it all.. Thanks for offering your HELP. I really need it and appreciate it a lot.. Have a nice afternoon in Texas, Wolf -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
