Is anyone on the list researching Johannes BIEHN (1652-1746/47) buried at Lower Skippack Mennonite Cemetery, Philadelphia Co. (now Montgomery Co., PA.)? He married Marieke/Mary (ArĂȘtes VanAchen) VANFOSSEN and they resided in Philadelphia Co., PA. Johannes bought land in Philadelphia Co. in 1727/28. A portion of the county (formerly Providence) apparently was "annexed" and eventually named Worcester Twp. Their children were Henry, John, Garrett, Conrad, Arnold, Adam, Christina, and Sibilla. Henry and John are named in Johannes' 1746/47 Will as well as his wife Mary. None of the other children are named in the Will. Johannes may have emigrated from Speisheim, Pfalz, Palatinate and certainly prior to the 1727 land purchase. I cannot find him on a ship manifest nor any other records. Name variants include BIEN, BIHN, BEAN. To date I cannot find any connection to the BOEHM spelling. Thank you for any help. Judy in CO.
